Where are you, mods?

Moderators aren't on 24/7 so there can be times when spam makes it through and sticks around longer than normal. Occasionally the spammers get very active and there will be even more than normal

they need to get some mods from asia , so that everytime we have some mods online . due to vast time gap (9-10 hours)

More than 2 years surely counts as " longer than normal", although who knows.
For example, here is a pure troll topic in the "For Beginners" section that is specifically designed to confuse and mock beginners. It's been constantly active since late 2022.

I didn't say that. As far as I'm aware there are mods from different parts of the world. I just know when the vast majority of that spam was being handled.

Instead of mods, they especially need a good anti-spam filter (add-on to the forum). It works 24h/24h, 365d/year.

Take this topic, for example.

You can argue that even the opening post is pure spam. But that's not the interesting part.
On May 30, 2024 (almost a year ago) a spambot spammed in it. Then 2 months later, on July 18 another spambot commented, quoting a previous post and inserting a (potentially harmful) link into it. It's extremely hard to believe that neither spambot was reported, and yet, here they are, still untouched, almost a year later.
The 75% percent of the posts on the main page of General Chess Discussion are spam, and it would be more if there wouldn't be some pinned posts. HELP!
