Why Can't You Create Forum Topics on the App?

Am I missing something? I looked to see where I could create a topic on the mobile app and I couldn't find anything. I can open other users’ topics and comment on those, but can't populate my own.

If there IS an option to do so on the app, then it's too hard for this user to find … Was this done intentionally to discourage use of the forums?

On Android it's the + at the top. I assume it's similar for iOS

Nope no plus sign, just the spyglass. I double checked my app version and it's current.

I had to exit out of the app and go back to the mobile website just to post that image. Is it just an issue with my app/account specifically??

On that screen, hit the back arrow. You'll have a + there. Then you can select the category and create a post.

I'm asking about the + not being on the category page. Not sure if that's normal or a bug
