Why is the Android App so trash?!

I've played on both IOS and Android and IOS is way way superior! It's putting me off buying the membership because of how buggy the Android version is.
It puts me into random games when I didn't hit search.
The pieces always go missing when click on my daily games.
Tactics don't add score upon completion.
Connection issues in game when I have 4G full signal.
If I search my opponents recent game it disappears when I go back to look at another game.
Analysis is super slow.
Why does it seem that there isn't much support for Android? Is the player base too low to invest in improvements?

There is a major update close to completion. It is going to include Puzzle Rush. I doubt it is a matter of low user numbers.
At any rate, the website offers features far superior to either of the apps.
