It’s a rule of chess. Your opponent had no legal moves but wasn’t in check. Chess.com isn’t gonna change the rules of the game because a random 200 got mad at them. It’s your own fault you didn’t know the rule

Yeah this happens to me all the time too, chess.com needs to fix this bug ASAP. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed
Why? when i was about to give a checkmate to a lone king (black) and king and queen on my side (white) why does it become a stale mate!!!?? i was only 1 move away from giving a check mate but your [removed -- MS] system made it a damn stalemate! if this doesn't change you'll lose a customer.
