Aborting when opponent is disconnected

i noticed that even when you start a new game and your opponent disconnects withouth making his first move, if you abort while he is disconnected you still get warned that the option to abort will be suspended if you abuse it. i don't know if aborting in this situation is counted as a strike against this rule, but if it is, in my opinion in these situations you shouldn't be warned, cause if you don't abort and the opponent doesn't connect back, you just lost 5 minutes. so i think people shouldn't be given a warning if they abort a game when opponent has not made his first move and he disconnected. thanks!

Usually if your opponent disconnects before the first move is made, the server should automatically abort.  Just wait a few minutes.

i see, it is true that i usually abort after 20-30 seconds, but i'll try to wait a bit more as you suggested.
