we have a REPORT THIS AD link next to every ad. please use this so that we can find and report bad ads.

i assure you that we don't intentionally allow those ads. and we report them to our ad networks immediately when they are reported or found. so please, REPORT the ads when they happen so we can kill them.

thanks,

You should rethink what you're paying for. They've mentioned taxes and levi's, If you want to pay for some service, you should accept the first offer even though the second might be better than the first, especially concerning your current indecision.

Joseph-S, I love chess.com and administrators etc etc....

I have been very successful in effective advertsing and know what's going on in the ad game.

I would help you for free as a thankyou for this great service you have provided.

Feel absolutely comfortable to queerie me at any time and length.

If you feel I may not be able to help after consulting. Then no problem either.

:)))

Grow up, use Opera, and block unwanted content (i guess any good browser should have such feature).

Or better (if you have concern with online security) use Linux for piece of mind.

Never had a problem. Clear your Cookies everyday, takes 5 seconds. Don't click on an ad, easy. Fixed.

I believe chess.com has over 2 million member's. Don't quote me here. If so, they're doing great.

Thanx guys.

I use firefox with NOSCRIPT Plugin. I disable anything that I don't want. There is another plugin called ADDBLOCK that seems to do the job as well.

The main problem is that ads keep respawning even after clicking "report ad" 200 times

A lot of people are suggesting ad-blocking software. I have it installed, but disabled for chess.com. Assuming chess.com gets paid-per-view, I'd feel guilty using the service for free without providing those views. I only have Adblock enabled for the sites which I do not wish to support.

I second that. I went for gold but I regret it and wish I could get the videos so I may upgrade soon. it's worth the money for the resources (endless) and the lack of ads is a nice perk, AND (perhaps most important) you directly support a community dedicated to chess. How cool.
