Why would you exclude any sites from adblock?

I exclude(d) chess.com come kinda out of 'respect' for being a good chess platform.
But i'm switching to Gold membership soon. So no more adds ad all :)
Makes me go back to using Adblock Plus on chess.com
I used to exclude chess.com from my adblocker but this is so annoying so no more ads for me.
