when a basic is done a tourniment, they may withdraw when they are done, and want to go to a different, but i agree :D

Well yes, the official ones take sometimes 6 months to end, but they can withdraw. And also, If The staff uncap it too much people won't buy the memberships because they have enough as a free member. My Vote is that it stays as it is except for the big tournaments (600 Player Tournaments)
Yeah,I know what u mean .. hv already thot abt that .. I think 2 or 3 would suffice n definitely much better than 1 .It actually benefits the Premium Members as well as they would want more people to join their Tourneys.
So everyone will be happy,I think.
Act,this has nothing to do with the Official Chess.com Tourneys tho ( Currently,everyone's already allowed to take part in unlimited Official ones ).. only applies to Member-Created ones.
Btw, max allowed Participants for such a Tourney is 100 ,rite ? How to get 600 ???

I am a basic member so yeah........... I already in a Tournament and I cant join more at the time
And even though this tournament consists of only three players, I made the tournament while thinking that I will have a lot of school work so I have to make the time limit 14 days
its right now 66% complete with two games two go............
I started it at the start of the year.......

i also basic member and one of susan's friend, i love to join ( kikyo_sushi )susan's tournament but it's imposible becoz i'm not finish yet my tournament. it's delay becoz other person go for vacation first. i only ca do is just watched her tournament start one by one. 
None of the Tourneys I created ( one,in Jan this yr,with 100 participants ) hv ended yet or even advanced to Round 2 .. it really does take like an eternity to complete ...

I would like to suggest that Basic Members be allowed to participate in maybe 3 -5 Tourneys at a time instead of 1 . That's cuz most of them cannot join any other Tourneys (those created by Members,other than Official Chess.com Tourneys ie ) the moment they register for one n long after as Tourneys (especially bigger ones) ,take like forever to end n If we create 'Invite-Only' Tourneys specially for our Group, most of our basic members usually cannot join as they r already/currently in one.
Presently,Gold Premium Members can join 10 Tourneys at a time,whist Platinum/Diamond can join unlimited Tourneys at a time ... so there will still be a significant difference to the no. of Tourneys one is allowed to enter,based on his/her Membership Level .
