What's the name of the android app?
Being able to use a DGT Board

This is what the DGT CEO told me: "Chess for Android van Aart Bik".
I assume that Aart Bik is the developer. See his website.

Yes, the app "Chess for Android fully supports DGT!
I test ChessGuard (only one time it stopped at 20moves) and it is real amazing.
I hope that DGT directly supports the online chess player and Acid Ape Chess will back to support the USB eboard.
Thank for the copy of chessguard!!!

Hmmm... Funny. It didn't, with mine. It received moves on my chessboard just fine, but nothing was shown on the clock. I might try with the old DGT+ and see if that works

The Android App is Acid Ape Chess only use with Bluetooth DGT board. But for training use Lucas Chess with DGT usb and DGT bluetooth

For training I have plenty of options, what we would like is an app to play chess on chess websites against human opponents with our USB chessboard...

I think there is no app for usb board, only websites and software like Fritz, Babachess(fics) and Lucas chess.

Hi everyone, there's something wrong I'm doing here with my USB board (by the way, thanks fewlio for your help!). As soon as I make a move, it doesn't happen anything and the cursor goes as marked on the screen. Maybe there's no pupport for USB model?

I just purchased a BT DGT Board and was sad there was no support for it on chess.com.
However, I'm just gauging interest here as I put together a "Chrome Browser Extension" that is able to hook into the chess.com internals and I can have it make moves / read moves (instantly) - without the need for screen overlays / mouse input / co-ords etc. (as that seems too error prone / wonky).
However, it's just a basic POC atm, still quite a lot to do (as need to reverse engineer stuff), but absolutely doable.
The idea is this:
1. Windows (yes), Linux (later, requires driver), MacOS (don't have one)
2. Ensure Rabbit Plugin is installed (both 32 / 64bit)
3. Install Chrome DGT extension
4. Enable DGT board from extension icon in browser
5. Boom, play moves (show a "helper window" directly in chess.com to notify of common board errors, such as piece misplacement), auto detect promoted piece and apply.
The general idea being that you literally click one button to enable it (like you would on playchess.com and your done).

WIP Update:
- Chrome extension package (see icon top right browser)
- Managed to get the driver communicating with chess.com internals to make moves and check legality
- Native app (which handles communication between browser / driver)
- Audio Moves (from Rabbit, when opponent move made), might offer an "external" option for this aka Microsoft voice (as Rabbit is known to be a bit unstable in that regard, where it dosen't always announce)

It seem's to be an amazing, suitable and powerful idea! And I think that can be used with USB e-board too! I 'm very interesting

It does, if it works with the DGT drivers...

Just got my USB e-board so I'll be watching this with great interest. I'd really like to be able to use my board here on chess.com.
Anyone have a copy of that older Chessguard application? I wouldn't mind fooling around a bit with that either.

This app costs $35 and it's better than DGT imo. makes the moves for you online too. you only have to move pieces on real board. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpU4G4itgOQ&t=72s

Hi all ,
can I ask you highlandScottish, what is the stage of your idea right now? did you finish the development? tell me yes please.
it would be perfect to play in chess.com with the dgt board,at the momment there are not support to play with the dgt board ina server with a pc, it`s ridiculous.
You can play in android but not in a pc :-(
I wish you have something finished, no pression jajaja ;-)
DGT wrote me that they are working on support for both chess.com and lichess.org, which is great news. Also they said that there is a new Android app that connects to DGT. I cannot test this however, since I don't have any Android device.
