note to staff...im playin dude and we're under 30 seconds. i switch to duck and run mode to clock whip him. he got a queen, caught on...as his clock expired, the computer called the game drawn "insufficient material" ! he had a queen...

If his clock expired then you were the one with "insufficient material" for mate, leading to draw, not him.

so both players must have sufficient material then?

and now that i think about it,a couple days ago, we both had queens and it called it a draw

no, his clock expired so normally you would win on time, but you can't win without any mating material on the board
