Why?
Chess.com Should Allow Illegal Moves in Blitz
Allowing them in what sense? That you can make an illegal move and then automatically lose?
Yes, not like on the first move you play 1.a8. Not that type. Like if you are in check and you blunder your king.
" Allowing them in what sense? " In the sense that the OP is 13 yrs old

It would be more fun that way. Its always more fun when you rob a bank and the FBI lets you go too
What is unsuccessful about the current one? It imposes the rules of chess. What more would you expect from it?
It's more fun if all you have to focus on is the chess aspect. Especially in speed games there isn't time to check if each of your opponent's moves were legal.

You are correct, maybe there should be a option where you could choose illegal move blitz or legal move blitz. What do you think. People who like legal move blitz could do that instead of illegal.
You want to make illegal moves legal? What sense does that make?
Bet you don't know about blitz tournament rules. You see, in blitz, if you make an illegal move, your oponent gets to claim the win. You see, this is only a rule in blitz OTB chess. So I am not a total idiot, I know what I'm talking about. Why don't you check uschess.org to confirm. ;)
There is a reason for that rule to exist in OTB blitz. There is no reason for it to exist in online blitz.
I don't think you're an idiot at all, I just don't see the logic.
The reason for that rule in blitz isn't to let illegal moves slip if the opponent doesn't notice them, it's that the time is so short and nobody's recording their moves, so the normal rule of reverting doesn't work out so well.
There's plenty of opportunities to blunder in blitz without adding another one.

Yes, you are most likely correct that that's why the rule was implemented in OTB. But so what? That rule being implemented effectively changes the game.
1. You now have to be careful to not make an incorrect move.
2. You have to pay better attention to your opponents moves if you don't want him to get away with an illegal move.
3. You can decide if you want to take a chance at an illegal move. Etc.
I like the OP's idea. I think online rules should be adapted to be as close to OTB rules as possible.

IMO, I think Chess.com should allow illegal moves in blitz. Like in a blitz tournament. I think allowing illegal moves should only be allowed in Chess.com blitz tournaments. Not regular games.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
