Add Armageddon and Hexapawn as variants. Also maybe make the checkers board that appears in the 404 screen playable.

Please add a Light UI/DarkUI button to the mobil apps, like the one on the website. The latest update of the app forces a black background in this forum, which is nice at night but unbearable in the day. The website, and phone UIs, give the user a choice for a reason. The app should give a choice, too.

And also, when I had to edit this post, I had to get off the app and go to the website to do it. Please let us quote other posts and edit our own on the app.

Isn't Hexapawn a solved game? However, it would be fun for octopawn, (hexapawn on a 4x4 board) to be a variant.

Does Chess.com have a negative chess variant? If they do, please tell me where to find it. If it is not there I would love to have it. It is a fun varient where you try to make your pieces get captured. The objective is to have your opponent capture all of your pieces.

1. Reduce premove time from .1 to either .02 or .05 seconds

2. Allow conditional Moves in Blitz/Bullet

3. Allow a bughouse option where you can opt to control both boards (against either another solo player or against a normal team of 2, maybe you get 1 extra minute on the clock or something).

4. Slightly more enforcement of forum spam.

5. Adjust mating material/time running out parameters slightly, all positions where checkmate is theoretically possible, no matter how absurd, should be a win for the player who still has time.

Otherwise this is a fantastic site..5 stars. The effort they put in to make it user friendly and engaging and extra features is unmatched by most sites. They deserve 1 Billion Accounts and access to faster servers, and even quantum computer usage when it gets more advanced.

I have a proposal for a new chess variant. The queen would be able to jump over 1 piece in a move almost like a knight however it can not check the king through another piece to avoid in order to much of an advantage the second change is that when the king is put in check it is able to double move but it can not move through check or into check additionally the king can not capture the piece that originally put it into check. I am still playing around with the idea but let me know what you think of it so far. If you have any other suggestions for the variant let me know.

For bughouse, better pairings. Even if the rating averages are similar for each team, 1500s shouldn't be paired along 700s, even if they are playing another 700. Too imbalanced. Not sure if the individual ratings or team ratings used to calculate points won/lost, but you should be able to set a partner rating filter as well.

I feel like that a new page should be added for people to play chaturanga. Or maybe make a new website named chaturanga.com which can also be a great way to respect history and heritage of chess

Be like lichess.com, make chess.com free and make tons of websites for other games. (Go, Shogi, Chatarunga and Chess Variants, and more.

If the site went free, they likely wouldn't be able to afford the staff to do additional things and would have to downsize instead.

They could still just make the membership cheaper, likely attracting more than currently to buy it.
