4 years later and we are still asking for conditional move options in the mobile app. Roettu’s joke be right.

What's strange is that it's a simple feature to add. They already have the Analyze board during your Daily Games on the app. It already lets you put in different sequences of moves and variations. All they have to do is let you use one of those Analysis boards as your Conditional Moves. Maybe enough people don't want the feature? I wonder how they do market research to see which features to implement.... 🤔

It is odd. This feature is much required.

Searched google to find a way to do conditional moves on the app, found this, so BUMP!

Kiiarashj

It's finally been implemented in the app! Hooray! ^_^

Talon_za

Yup, for anyone looking for it, once you have made your move, you can now access conditional moves in the options of that game.

@Talon_za @Kiiarashj How? I’m still not seeing this option. Please advise.

akagr

Yes please! It's a huge miss that android app has it and iOS doesn't.

On the Android app, if you go to your Daily game and click Options, there is now an option for Conditional Moves. Not sure if it's implemented on iOS yet or not. I've waited over 5 years for this feature to be implemented. Finally! ^_^

Any particular reason conditional moves haven't been added to the iOS app (while we're hearing it was implemented for Android a few months back)? Is it even on the development roadmap for iOS? Not a good look by Chess.com to just ignore this completely.

KelEl14

Yes please chess.com. Why can’t we have conditional moves in app?

BaronVonChickenpants

You can now, and have been able to for some time.

It's available on Android. I don't think it's on iOS yet.

BaronVonChickenpants

Wow , really? If was something like 10 months ago, what's the problem?

The iOS development team is a different set of staff members. When the Android code was released I don't believe any work had been done on iOS for Conditional Moves at that point.

Jaguarphd

Please add for iOS!

Kiiarashj

And it's glitchy on Android. Sometimes the option for Conditional Moves doesn't show up, and you have to leave the game and come back for it to show up.
