Direct Link to the Fair Play Policy

Maybe I'm just not looking carefully enough, but I do not see a direct link to the Fair Play Policy. I know one comes up when I or my opponent may have violated it, but otherwise, it seems to be very hard to find. Shouldn't it appear as a menu item under Learn, Home, or Play? I think the policy should be a lot easier to find.

Ah. I see the link now. But it's only accessible in one of the Play windows, like Live Chess.

Hahaha, this must be Chapa's "thing"... trying to "push" people to resign... In my opinion: pathetic

LOL. Congratulations, RMPerry. It takes a special "talent" to completely whiff on a point twice within a single post. It's as though you went off-topic in two different dimensions. First, you launch an attack that has nothing to do with my post, and then, you totally missed the point of what you were actually responding to! Brilliant!

Let me type more slowly so you can understand: I ONLY tell people they should resign when they are down a couple of pieces and continue to play as if a miracle will happen AND THEY LOSE THE GAME ANYWAY. It would make no sense to complain about people who don't resign in clearly lost positions if they in fact win and thus justify their "strategy".

And give me a freaking break. I've played many games where people have interposed a piece that can be taken for free just to postpone mate for one move. Against the rules? No. Offensive and childish? Definitely.

And BTW,  you really should wait until you actually have a winning record against someone before you label them a loser. You have more to cry about than I do, LOSER.

...and let's not forget: Playing chess is a waste of time all in itself :)

Um, Ookaay. It's spam, but since you brought it up.....

I would not presume to lecture someone about winning or losing "graciously" (I can only assume that is the word you meant to use)  if I were you. Tell me, what is gracious about playing on down two rooks and a piece? What is gracious about not taking the hint when your opponent then promotes another pawn to be up a queen in addition to the three pieces? What is gracious about moving your king back and forth between two squares waiting either to get mated or for your clock to run out? Hmmm? The rule allowing you to resign was instituted for a reason.

I don't leave comments unless someone has first insulted me. And there was nothing about your childish refusal to simply acknowledge defeat that suggested you would be open to a rational, mature conversation.
