my other family members used to try to play using internet explorer, and it disconnected so frequently it was unusable, I have always used google chrome however, and rarely disconnect, I suggested they use google chrome as well even if its just to play chess and it's been mostly remedied.

Multiple disconnections happen so often on this site. and they happen most often in tight time games. Played a 5/0 and had a comfortable 20 second advantage as well as a positional advantage until the last half minute when I was "conveniently" disconnected for 30 seconds. It happens time and time again. My isp isn't the greatest , but it is very strange there are so many disconnections here.
