haha, i'd offer a draw every move in bullet. but you're right, it's really easy to miss a draw offer in blitz

In a recent game I made a draw and just afterwards, I saw a notification email from chess.com, sent earlier, that my opponent had offered a draw 
Well, responding to a draw offer can't be mandatory, because some people spam draw offers as a psychological tactic.
Yes, but that can also happen IRL. But there is nothing wrong with clicking no draw, before you can make a move.
In live chess, it would certainly be helpful to have some indicator close to the board which shows when a draw offer has been made. At least a couple of times, I've been concentrating on the board, and made my move only to discover that I've declined a draw offer (which I hadn't noticed) in the process.
just a note. FIDE laws of chess clearly stipulate that you can decline the offer by making a move. Chess.com could improve the visibility of the draw offers(or create a settings so the players could tweak it for themselves). But, to put that you have to decline the draw by responding to the offer is wrong IMO. Silence means decline, leave it that way.
yeah, i also think it should be more noticable. I just recently played about 20 unnecessary moves in a drawn opposite bishop ending, I suspect I missed his offers and he missed mine. Maybe change the page backgruond colour or something else glaringly obvious?

How stupid it is, when I offer a draw, and then it's my turn and he offers a draw. He didn't notice my offer.
Sometimes I have offered a draw and then I see that my opponents declines my offer. And then it's stupid that he offers a draw himself. So, he missed my offer. And sometimes I have to use the chat to convince my opponent that it's a draw. It's nice....when people disable the chat.
It's an idea that someone offered a draw, that the screen has an other colour, or that there is a box which you must click away, which says: Your opponent has offered a draw. And when you have clicked it away, then you can make a move.
