Express if you like or do not like the new version of the site

Just one thing I would like to add:

I think that the "completed games" folder should be more visible on the homepage; I find that actually it's not enoughly put on evidence.

I hope that the new version will not been removed as I favour it a lot compared to the old one.

Can't find analysis board on v3 although surely it is there somewhere? Clarity of board on v2 seems to me much superior.

it took me 17 log-ins to discover analysis board in the beginning, now every time I'm still looking for this but i guess it is a matter of some months to find it more easily, but it is certainly one of the most painful experiences I have with V3,  why do we have to be tortured like that?

P.S. I'm still looking for the conditional moves though, after 100 log-ins

I spent 100 hours of creative work to edit 20 different themes for chess,com in V2 and I was happy to use all of them changing my colours

but I had to spend another 20 hours in V3 to discover that the themes I have created are disabled and gone forever and you cannot create any themes anymore 

and I decided that is not right to pay for a membership anymore if my creative work was to be disabled 

and my desire to have V2 never to be taken into account

Can somebody please tell me why .. although I'm still playing the old version .. I'm getting ads ..LOADS of ads .. on the page??

why every answer in any question about V3 is so vague and mysterious?

because it's not intuitive or user friendly

You have a couple of options. If you are in a Daily game that  is ongoing, it is the board with the magnifying glass I think. I don't currently have an active game to check on.

If you are on a completed game,  you can use the analysis feature and do a Self Analysis.

You can also use Learn > Analysis ( > ) in the menu which links to https://www.chess.com/analysis-board-editor

For conditional moves it has to be your opponent's move on a Daily game and there will be an icon that looks like a forking path/arrow. Use that to enter a conditional line.

As to creating themes, you can't on v3. You can modify your theme with your own background if you want and there is a Chrome extension (and at some point one will be added for other browsers) to locally skin other parts of the site.

I loved most of it, but i came back to the old version because:

1) I like the lighter colors.

2) The Live Chess is far more functional. When you search for a game, you have the option of seeing who is looking for what games. If I want a longer game, maybe i'm willing to bend on my preferred time control, and i'll join an open challenge that i see. (eg: maybe i want 30/5, but rather than wait for an opponent, i see someone offering 45/0, and I might take it)

This would also be helpful in Fischer Random. I tried to get a game in the New Site and gave up waiting. If i could look for a Fischer Random game in the OLD Live Chess format, i would be willing to accept practically any time control if i could actually get a live game goin'.

Unless i missed something, with the new site, you just select time controls and wait for a match. Why would you actually DECREASE functionality?  

The seek graph is still available in v3.

There is also a Classic theme that more closely mimics v2 in colors.

I  can't learn the icons, i will never do that, i'm not an ape, I like to read the written title like in V2

I can't open all these icons every time I need to find something, I'm getting nervous and stressed instead to relax and think my chess moves

Sorry, I have to go from memory on some things (since I don't have an active game). I also collapse the text labels that batgirl posted in her image because I found them pretty intuitive after the first couple of times of using them, before the labels were added.. The ones on the games, have hover-over text too, if I'm not mistaken. Those also seemed pretty clear to me when looking on how do things the first time I switched to v3.

I will agree, it isn't the same for everyone. I do think it shouldn't take too long for most people to get used to it.

Unbelievable the amount of whining on things that are so simple to learn. 

I understand change can be difficult, but come on.
