iit took me some time to get used to the new site but I like it. still figuring some things out though
Express if you like or do not like the new version of the site
batgirl you better read carefully all the comments well before you answer to my comment trying to make a fool out of me
I can't believe that a person of your experience in writing awesome articles cannot understand about what icons we were talking about
I guess you don't want to understand and that is the problem with all who support the V3 platform
I feel very dissappointed from your deliberate effort to mislead the members
and the worst thing is that you are a volunteer member of the staff
terrible - univiting - sterile - complicated - user unfriendly - designed by a committee - boring
(these are the good points)

Thank you,Martin Stahl,-but pretty complicated and not half as attractive as v2. v3 may have more facilities for the sophisticated player but could lose you the average punter.
Here's the deal. When I look at a puzzle in TT, I want to be trying to figure out what is the best move. I don't want to be trying to figure out how much time I have to do it or what color I am playing.
And where did I learn to expect the screen to tell me the time and what color I am playing? I learned that in playing Tactics Trainer in v2.
I am not asking for something new. In v2 it tells me before I start the clock what color I play and how much time I have. So when I am studing the position, I already know those two things.
All I want is to keep what I already have in v2. You can tell me all day long that I don't need it, but I will tell you all day long that in v2 I already have it and I LIKE it.
Get it?
yes my friend Rocky!
The new version is too complicated and awkward. I far prefer the old version and will greatly miss it.

\and I'm sorry that you think my purpose was something so base and that your response so ill-concieved. Good luck.
After I use the Explorer in V3 there's no icon to take me back to the actual game, so I have to go to all my games to re-select it.

then please give us the true icons we were talking about
and ask sorry from the members that you tried to mislead them
with the wrong screenshot
This poem goes for the new V3 platform and a Farewell to V2
"Of winter's lifeless world each tree
Now seems a perfect part;
Yet each one holds summer's secret
Deep down within its heart"
~Charles G. Stater

Truth: v2 is living on borrowed time.
Truth: v3, on a computer (I know nothing about other devices) is only difficult if you'd rather whine than learn... and the learning curve is rather minimal.
Truth: once v2 is gone, v3 will only get better.

V2 is not living on borrowed time because it is immortal in our hearts

V3 is living on borrowed time and this time should finish soon because I want to be able to use my themes again!

and is really amazing that even themes and other functions are disabled in V2 some months ago, most of the people are still using it as their main platform
That means High Fidelity!!

I like the old version better, it just feels smoother and has in my eyes more style. The new one feels awkward, is harder to handle and looks too modern. Especially for use of the forum I tend to prefer the old version.
