once i said something that wasn't mean... my opponent got all upset and said he would report me somhow
Fair play: Reporting insults proper?

hypocrites.
(what the hell is an ass sandwich anyway)
It is donkey (or mule if you prefer) between two slices of bread.

my "friend" in mexico ate a burro burito while on a huntin' trip with his old man. but that ain't what i'm talkin' aboot. (or abite if you're from belfast)

You all should quit yer bleedin' bellyaching. Is this what the western world has become? A bunch of bleedin' pansies running to Mummy and Daddy when someone types "sod off" in a chat box during some 5 minute internet video game?
As we say in Oz, there are a lot of snitches buried in the Outback. The Outback takes care of a lot of problems.
no. I'll tell you what the "western world" has become. it has become a society dominated by a set of filthy rich psychopaths who go around arbitrarily offing people for absolutely no reason and/or for their own perverse amusement. many of these innocent people find it painful to be mutilated/tortured/murdered.
I don't find those two world views mutually exclusive.
I'll trade my liberty for a sense of safety any day.

Hobbes' Contract presupposses more horses' asses than horses on the planet.
But the latter wins out. So, No Social Contract.

once i told a guy i would make him a sandwich and he called me gay. ME!
that is shocking. the pink couch is the most hetero avatar I have ever come across. I think you should report him to the authorities.
do gay guys use pics of rappers sitting on pink couches for their avatars on chess websites?

some people take everything as insult. so it is up to the person to decide which is insult and which is not or is it just psychological to think some dialogues as insult? because one day while playing i commented on my opponents move saying and pointing him out other best move than what he played, but he thought that was an insult for him and started making racist comments saying you Indians are always like this like that and all such things and finally i had to disable chat.

the point is to try to make chess.com safe for kids, i dont know about anyone else but i dont want my kids being insulted or abused when all they want to do is play chess, if you cant be civil to your opponent then stay off the chat . i myself have experienced this twice on here ,both american's dont know if that is significant perhaps not ?
Bt what about the crybabies who get upset that you've turned off chat? I guess that's everyone else's problem, because they complain to us when they can't to you....
