I was wondering to whomever has the ability to make the change.

If you could let players have the ability to flip the board during game play.

I don't think this is available during live chess ( I personally don't see the point?) but you can do it during turn-based online-chess.

I've been on different chess websites, and they all have the option. I do not see the reason why we shouldn't have the option live. You might not use it, but maybe others would like to.

They probably don't offer the option because you can't do that in over the board games.
