Game Explorer - Chess.com games

I don't know if this has been discussed before, but wouldn't it be cool to have a game explorer for all chess.com games? I'm sure the database is there (as it's just a combined feature of all the mygames explorers) so the implementation shouldn't be too hard.

I don;t know if it would be useful for anything but it seems like a really fun option.

Yes, we absolute NEED this!

What I consider to be my serious games (where I concentrate the most) are Standard Live chess games.  These are the games I'd like to search through. I'm sure others feel the same about blitz.  For these games, there is no way to check back and see how you've faired in a particular opening.  We need this to see where our errors are and how we can improve.

I was wondering about this as well. It works for the online games but not for the live chess. Are there any plans to try to sort this does anybody know? I think it would be a wonderful tool if so.

Yes, it would be very helpful to explore my live games since that's most of what I play.

This would be great if they could swing it.  My style of play is MUCH different in "Live" as compared to "Online", and I would love to be able to explore these games in the same style of interface.

I would also like the ability to use Game Explorer to analyze my live games. Has the chess.com team provided any indication that they might do this?

This would be good, but it would avoid the restrictions that non paying members face. If you aren't a member, than all the games you have played three months ago or more will vanish from your game archive, and will only return if you are a member.

Making a database would remove this feature.

I cannot see Polar_Bear games via Explorer :

Can You ???

Hi LauriAikio,

It can be done. The search feature on Game Explorer is qwirky. But, here's how:

1) Open Game Explorer

2) Select "Other Players Games" from the Databases menu field

3) Type "Polar_Bear" in the text field with embedded label Enter Username

4) Press Enter on the keyboard

I found 93 games. Interestingly, every single one of the games played as white start with 1.e4.

See here:

All of my games start with e4 with the exception of 4 games in a themed tournament.

Thank You. The problem was that Backward Arrow, Reset-button worked after all :
