HD PHOTO-REALISTIC 3D CHESS SETS

Hi folks,

Aren't we happy in here ?...playing chess around the clock with people from all around the world,...Of course we are! nevertheless, it would be so nice if we could have more choice concerning the chess boards and chess pieces we use to play online in chess.com...some high definition photo-realistic 3D chess sets like those used in major chess games programs: FRITZ, CHESSMASTER, etc...would make it perfect

Please send your comments, tell us which kind of chess set our nice web designers could draw up and put in our "preferences"

I'll start, ...i'd like to be able to use the famous german knight timeless chess set, used in tournaments and world championships between  1999 and 2013...and you ?

v3 has a real 3d board, though it isn't photo-realistic. I think it is also only available to premium users.

Hi Martin, thanks for the comment and the great job you're doing here. The real 3D (Beta) is indeed a nice asset, ...can't chess.com propose something different along with the sets we're used to here ?

Have you suggested this to the powers at chess.com?  It wouldn't be simple, but I think it is a great idea.

The photo-realistic might be asking for too much....but something like these seems to be very acceptable:

Ok Martin, ...we've been fooled because of your avatar...it really looks like a staff member's one...

It's a configuration thing for moderators and is something related to v3.

I would like to see more staff create and invent 3D chess set online with chess.com would be great.  Oh yes we do have Fritz and chessmaster 10 version i think.  was it 11 version? not sure, unfortunely no longer made for chessmaster very sadden. But Fritz does goes on continues every year :) 

cost a lots.  can't afford it lol.

i have no idea how to put it like staff and members. perhap they are watching you as big brother and maybe they will response to you, other thing when u see nickname along with "staff" that is one of them create chess.com i'm not sure. i could be wrong.

very nice chess sets, Macrinus. I would like to see them at chess.com. Also it would be cool if they made some fantasy 3D chess sets, like a chess set with dragons, werewolfs etc. Or a chess set were pieces are characters from Game of Thrones

I think an option for premium members would be a good idea. It would help inspire a lot of people to make the switch, making more money for Chess.com. I would rather it was available to all of them, but pitching it in that way could make it more feasible for them.
