Hehe, yeps we do. Our dialect is pretty much the same. Except for some local influences.
Holland = The Netherlands

In regard to Limburg :
I once, unexpectedly, saw the giants in Maastricht on a drunken weekend with a Scottish mate of mine
I worked in Heerlen for 3 months and got very intoxicated in the local back street cafes which the miners used to use and some still did. I come from a mining area in Yorkshire - UK aka GB aka EN

Haha, that must be quite some time ago, the mines are closed here now for decades. It's one of the things I find very interesting. I lost 2 people alone in my family due to their work in the mines. Including my grandpa. Rough world that is. I'm glad it's gone here. But, lots of respect for the miners! My grandpa used to walk 12 km to the mines and back, for a couple coins. Insane when you think of it.

It was 18 years ago Wil.
I think you may enjoy this Monty Python sketch called the 4 Yorkshiremen, which is where I'm from

Ah! Love those guys, haven't seen this sketch in a long time! Thanks for the link :D Going to enjoy it now :D

And what about Wieners? Neh, actually you can trust Germans with meat, beer and saucages. It's a perfect combo, a German and grinded meat. Can't go wrong. Just keep em away from your beaches or they start digging holes.

The group representing the Netherlands in chess.com's World League team match tournament is called Chess Team Holland.

This beach thing is really embarassing. And to be honest, dutch and belgian beer culture is more interesting than german (in Germany, better go for a Riesling). A colleague of mine once found a pub in Maastricht where they don't offer a drinks menu, but instead you have to describe how your beer should taste and they will select one for you from hundreds of choices. As a Limburger, maybe you know that one?

Haha, no I don't know that pub but I can imagine how that went. Your mate came in bloody drunk and the guy asked him, well how do you want it to taste? In the meantime another guy went to the river the 'maas' and went get his beer lol :D
Haha, but don't be embarresed about the hole-digging (albeit that still is funny haha), being from Limburg I would more than happily trade all the holes you want for an invitation to the Octoberfests! You guys know how to party!

If you drink Heineken, well, let me put it this way. I'm sorry. I am very sorry. Most Dutchies didn't invent Heineken. Only Heineken did.
Meh, Holland is both a reference to the provinces and a synonym for the Netherlands. There's a reason why we sing "Hup Holland Hup" at football matches. Because everyone understands that it refers to the country, not just the two provinces.

Hahaha I've proudly presented it in my showcase! Great counter! And I'm sincerely sorry for your 'autobahns' :D

You make 1 capital mistake here, you asume that 'most' people enjoy or watch soccer. That is a thinking fault. I would say, of course those people sing that, they don't know any better :)
(and when we actually win, they sing: nederland.... ohhh nederland.... )
Well, it's the number one sport in our country. With nearly 10% of the country being a member of a football club and on top of that a gigantic fanbase of the sport existing as well, you can safely assume they're at least somewhat representative of the population of our country.
Plus, the Dikke van Dale has two entries for the word 'Holland':
1. The two provinces
2. The Netherlands

Do Dutch Limburgers also have that "singing quality" to their dialect, as their Belgian counterparts have? By the way, if you want to hear real Belgian "Limburgs", watch the movie Rundskop (Bullshead). I suggest watching it with subtitles on
.
