Unless chess.com terminated the game because he abandoned it before he timed out, I don't think you should have won.
EDIT: The server couldn't have terminated the game since it was an online game. In online games, the default option is to claim a win when your opponent times out.
Not bothering to put up the position, as it's very simple. My black king on g7, his white pawn on g5 and king on f5. It's white's turn to move, and it's a dead draw.
BUT here's the problem: My opponent abandoned the game and ran out of time, and I WON. Now, I'm not complaining, but how could I possibly win with a lone king against a king and pawn?? OTB the exact same situation would be a draw.
Is there something I'm not seeing?
