Thanks for the posts.
How Long Until We Get V4 ???
i think it's your imagination. some of the bugginess may have been taken care of, but many issues are still ignored.
just a few that come to mind on the social side of things:
1. url referenced motion gifs don't work as expected unless uploaded from disk
2. images referenced via urls with certain ascii characters won't show
3. comment edits are not trackable - previously deleted comments were just hidden via tags
4. deleted original posts disappear totally and pass on topic ownership to the next poster
Yes many of us are slowly getting used to this V3 stuff but how much better will V4 be ? There have been quite a number of threads complaining about some of the changes that come with this current V3 so therefore the main question is what changes will be made with the future V4 ?
--- I gather that more changes have recently been made to a V3 and not everyone is entirely happy. Well never fear V4 will soon be here ( or will it lol ).

I haven't been around for ages but i see some old friends of mine haven't logged in since around April/May of this year. My first thought was more site changes but i'm not really sure what changes have been made.
What i can say is that the problems i reported years ago with v3 still remain ![]()

I don't know what any of this really means. But if the birdie dances, everything is OK.

Item 1 was fixed recently. That birdie is missing a ball

--- And yet again rofl.
Check about Erik post, He said the no of people that complain for V3 is 7000, whereas the other millions of people dont. So he decided in favour of 99.99%.
Problem?
Do you believe him? The old saying about customer complaints is that they are the tip of the iceberg. Meaning for every complaint, there are 10 times (or more) as many people who are unsatisfied, but dont complain. That depends on the type of business and other factors of course but it means that something is already very wrong. If a customers favorite dish at a restaurant is steak, and he complains about the steak, the restaurant owner is unwise to discontinue steak and push pasta sales instead.
--- Interesting.
That's what happens when you drop your meth pipe.
