Thank you! I was able to quit several of the clubs I no longer want to be part of. But one group is worse than I thought -- not only am I an admin, I'm the SuperAdmin. WTF? I don't even know what an Admin is and never wanted this. It won't let me quit, the only option is Disable Group (which doesn't seem fair to the other members).
If there is another member in the club that is premium and wants to be admin, then you can promote them, assuming you are the only admin and want to quit.
I AM STILL NOT ABLE TO QUIT CLUBS THIS IS A SCAM TO FORCE MEMBERS I CANNOT BELIEVE CHESS .COM DOES PERMIT THIS !!!!
THE INSTRUCTIONS BY MARTIN STAHL DO NOTHING TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM .
You go to the club you want to leave:
For example, https://www.chess.com/club/help-and-support
Then click the Settings link in the Club panel.
then Quit Club

You're not even in any clubs:

I can't stand this new interface (and have forgotten the trick to get back to the old one), and can't figure out how to leave a club that has gone inactive, but somebody else keeps pinging members about. Oh, and I discovered I'm somehow because an admin for a club I didn't even remember I was a member of -- how the heck did that happen?
