@OP: I absolutely believe this site is worth a diamond membership. I obviously don't get "commercial slams," so I don't know how frequent they are, but if you are having any technical difficulties--whether you're receiving too many appeals to buy a premium membership, or encountering bugs in games--I encourage you to file reports to the staff. They are very helpful and nearly always reply within 24 hours. (On one occasion, I received assistance from a staff member in just five minutes!)
The rudeness and stalking you are experiencing can also be reported, and the staff should be able to help you. If you need anything, feel free to ask them! 
I hope your experience on this site improves dramatically from now on.

I really enjoy this site, I couldn't stand not being a premium member though, with all of the ads, and not being able to talk in chat except once every 60 seconds. I really think the diamond membership is worth it though, with all of the videos, chess mentor, and unlimited tactics trainer. Great site, also if people are "stalking" you, then just consider yourself really popular ;) Also...you can block people from even talking to you, or also report them. Hope your luck with the site goes better, because it will really improve your chess playing skills. Take care
I personally am thinking about getting a premium membership soon simply for the sake of the chess playing experience on this site. hope many free users are thinking same way.

It is a forum open for discussion I can express my opinion here just like you. What are you guys sitting around waiting for it to change. Why ask the question if you can't get honest feedback. If you want only positive remarks about the site and everyone else should just shut up and leave.well that answers the question if you have a probably with the site shut up and leave is that chess.com policy or your attempt to solve problems for them. It's a rhetorical question. I will continue till I am done and you will be forced to tolerate my opinion. If you can't take the bad with the good your in for a lot of arguments cause it isn't always a good review. That's. Life

if you think its a forum for open discussion then what's your problem with good posts about this site?? why do you think the good posts are spams or paid for?? if the guys at chess.com are doing nothing then the site couldn't run at all. they may not have the time to read all the forum posts about the running of this website...

Free users that you seem to look down on still ad revenew to the site. It is probably close to what your paying anyway they get money from ads I play free. If all the free users vanish so does your diamond membership because the site will be gone .

How much do you think the site gets per ad view? The site owner has gone on record to say the ad revenue is a small part of the site's income. You're gonna have to rethink.
I know of a company that is Currently doing 40,000 a week goldendog. All off ad clicks. That is an amount no company could stand to lose and not bat an eye.if the site offers free chess let them pay free like you advertise

Why would the site have to lose all the revenue from free members? That's your strawman.
All they stand to lose is a few malcontents that don't think the free deal is worth it.
As it is, the site has a few tiers of membership, and that model seems to be working well.
Including everyone who votes with their feet.
A few that would make those other ad clicks about $10,0000 a click. Are you an administrator
