Live rating pool expansion/Live database troubles/ Bughouse chess on live?

It's a bit silly to have your 10 minute+ 5 sec increment rating to be the same as the 3 minute+ 0 second rating, or 5 minute + 2 second increment.

These are completely different time settings, yet you still have to have the same rating for all of them. 

Yet, all of a sudden, when you go from 10 minutes + 5 seconds, to 15 minutes it becomes your Standard rating. I didn't realize that this was such a huge difference to deserve the Standard rating! 

Is there any chance of a better rating pool system being implemented soon? Like how ICC has it done. I would consider that much better than how it is organized on the live server. Other than that it is nice to play on the live server here.

It's been 2 years or so (it feels like it) since I asked about this, but when are our live games going to be actually...you know...added to the database?

I understand that this is a time consuming process and much of it is a hastle, but a friend of mine has checked this multiple times, and he/she only has around 50 games played in the database, even though he/she has played tens of thousands of live games on the server and has been a member for multiple years. 

Is there any update on the Bughouse Chess option for live?

I was told a couple of years ago it was a serious possibility that it could be added, yet haven't seen any update whatsoever on this topic. 

Has it been deemed as a side project that is not a priority or is it still in the works?

Well, yeah, you probably discovered long ago that different time controls are put into the same rating category. It's an imperfection but, you know, whatever lol. Personally I feel what ICC has done just overcomplicates things. So many different ratings to keep track of when most of them would probably be pretty similar anyway. Should we have a separate rating for every possible time control? In any event I don't get too worried about it -- play 10 6 if it's that important :)

1. I don't agree with it, it would just be too complicated. Actually, why even bothering with it, we don't get money or a prize for the win.

2. Completely agree. Unfortunately only some of our own games are included in game archive. And this is stupid. All or nothing.
