make abandonment statistics viewable

I suggest that users percentage of games that they abandon is viewable just like their win and loss rate. Opponents with low abandonment rates would be more desirable and it might help reduce the people who do it on purpose.

I don’t mean aborts at the beginning, but when people stop playing a game in the middle.
I would rather play people who want to play to the end that’s all. Not moving til time runs out is lame. I get it that it is their right to do that but I would like to find opponents who want to play than watch clock tick.

I'm just wondering. People who let their clock run down...how are they different than people staring at the board looking at their position. Is their a review of the games and someone makes a judgement call on the behavior? It just seems like a difficult rule to enforce fairly. I agree though, everyone should respect each other, including playing fairly and not being rude by wasting their time.

i think i saw somewhere that if you think for a long time, you get a message asking if you're still there (people who abandon games probably don't sit at the screen after they abandon them), and if you don't click anything it makes you lose as you abandoned the game.

this never happened to me though, so it may not be true (or the feature might have been removed)
