Actually an even simpler solution (not as useful, but anyway) would be to restore the style distinction between the links that have been visited and the ones that have not. This basic distinction is there in the display styles by default, but the styles you defined removed this distinction.

Hello,
This seems to have been asked several times already, e.g.
http://www.chess.com/forum/view/suggestions/save-which-videos-ive-already-watched
http://www.chess.com/forum/view/suggestions/mark-video-as-viewed
http://www.chess.com/forum/view/suggestions/video-lessons-log
but it would really help to be able to distinguish between videos already seen and videos not yet seen.
Automatic detection is not necessary (and maybe even not desirable, because assuming you are able to track how much of a video I have seen, I'm still the only one to know if the look I had at part of the video should count as "seen" or not). Just give me a check box "Mark as seen", then allow me to check, in the search, a check box "Ignore videos marked as seen", and I will be happy. This is easy to do and is all what is required. It is so easy that I believe it would deserve to be done before the next version comes. It will help us to wait by watching the videos :)
Thank you.
