sadly I am not the person to help you, the reason being that I am too rebellious and naughty and an anti-hero, You need someone that is wholesome and believes in moderation and is righteous and all those good things.  

you may like to consider being an admin in any groups that you belong to first, it gives you a chance to experience moderation to a degree.

I’d love to be a mod; take all the inappropriate forums threads down and delete all the rude and inappropriate members. It would certainly leave chess.com quite empty with the few folk on here who are actually decent.

yes the context, so if someone begins trollin someone and they get mercilessly counter trolled by the forum and told to turn up the tone, is that necessarily a "bad thing" 

Surely self censorship is the best?

Technically both bad and good. It makes that forum but it helps the other forums in the mean time?

If two users are having a debate and one jokes and states that all the worlds problems are down to having given women the right to vote should that comment be subject to censorship and the user reprimanded?
