Messages | Better management system

Good Morning -

I wanted to request/suggest an update to the messages feature.

It is an important part of the site, and I feel there needs a better way to manage your messages.  When you are active on the site, you tend to be overwhelmed when you log on and see 15 new messages or more.  When you are busy and want to get to the chess games, but afraid you will miss something with your group, you need to sift through page by page to find out what's new sometimes.

I suggest adding the following features:

• Be able to sort by the column headers (by sender, by date, & by new messages) with both a-z/z-a, newest/oldest, basically like you'd sort an email inbox
• Add more functions when selecting messages other than just 'delete'
• Add the "manage all" functions (where 'delete' is) to the top of the page, not just at the bottom (so you don't have to scroll to the bottom to access it)
• Add the ability to archive into various folders

No, don't make it into an email, I like it as is...  just make it easier for us to manage :)  This way we can purge those past-relevant messages easier!
