I don't know if this had been suggested before, but I'm too lazy to browse, so here it is.
I think it would be nice to have a way to filter your opponents based on how old their account is and how many games they have played.
This thought came to mind today after losing a horrible game in 15/10 time control.
If I get my butt kicked by someone who has been here for, say, 4 years and have thousands of games under his belt, I know he's a legit player, and the fact that he lasted this long probably means he's not a cheater.
But nothing is more frustrating than playing someone whose account is a day old and he has 2 games under his belt, and he destroys you, and you put the game in the engine and turns out he played perfectly.
Of course nothing is conclusive after just 1 game, and I'm not accusing that particular opponent of cheating per se.
But needless to say, someone whose account is 1~3 days old with less than 10 games played is a lot more suspicious than someone whose account is years old with hundreds of games played.
Besides, whether or not someone whose account is new is a cheater or not will be irrelevant if we have options to filter our opponents based on the age of their account and/or the number of games they have played here (similar to how we can filter based on ratings)
I guess the downside is if everyone starts filtering out new players in fear of cheating, then the new players won't be able to play, but I don't know.
Just my thought.
