The video-section, study plan, mentor section and more is divided into categories like opening, ending, tactics, strategy etc., in addition to beginner, intermediate and advanced level.
Is it possible to create a new category called something like "chess thinking"?
I miss courses, drills and advice in building a strong thinking method throughout the game. With that I mean always considering opponents plan before your own, doing blunder test before moving, correct counting of attackers and defenders, remembering what was left behind, always looking for checks, captures and threats, building board vision, knowing all the time what pieces/squares are safe etc.
I feel more advanced players have made this knowledge subconscious (an IM said "I just know" when asked how he knew), but I could need some tips on how to get there. There has to be some 'best practice' in learning solid chess thinking. Now it feels like I have to stumble upon it based on a lot of trial and error.
Maybe this is just a beginner problem, but I believe correct thinking is as important as studying the other categories.
