No analysis board on app. Why?

I think i found a solution... this works on iPhone app, so just pay attention and do all my steps

1. Press the three lines in the right

2. Press “Tournaments”

3. Press “Daily”

4. After this step another three lines will appear on right side, press the lines

5. Press “learn”

6. Press “analysis”

7. And here you have “load pgn” or “load fen”

If you did it right it’s going to work, if not try again!

Thank me later!

How is this still not added? Does chess.com staff even read these posts?

No, no they don't.

Go search “Chess.com analysis board” and click on the top link and you will find an analysis board and a PGN editor.

This worked but it’s annoying I have to go through 80 steps. This app sucks

Go to the Events Page. It will bring up the inbox icon in the top right. And through the conversations, if you registered through the app, there should be a hotlink "Analyze your own games" and it'll take you there

É agosto de 2021 e ainda não existe o recurso no app.

Had to google where is analysis board and was really surprised finding this. The claim “unlimited analysis” was the only reason I decided to pay.

pro tip for devs: in mobile version disable automatic calculation till depth 20, make it click and gradual calculation. Auto calculation on first moves unnecessarily eats huge amount of resources

On iOS app, the menu with the learn button seems to be hidden somewhere, while on Android it appears on the bottom of the screen. And without that learn button, you can’t go to the analysis button in it’s sub menu. No fix for this on iOS?

There is an option called pass and play which can be used to study different openings

I’ve been paying this app for a long time just for the analysis features.

It legitimately feels like wasting money if those features are not easily accessible on my other devices. Shameful and disappointing.

Wondering how this is still a thing in late 2022. Lichess has an analysis board and board editor off the main menu. I use it constantly. If I want to use the analysis board here I have to go in via browser on mobile, which is a terrible experience as nothing fits on the screen. You can either view the pieces moving or the actual game review if you scroll down which is unusable.

Chess.com interface is generally confusing and unintuitive to me, I can't never hfind anything I'm after easily where as on lichess, it's just "there" no matter if it's mobile or browser.

Android has one under Learn > Analysis, at least in version 4.5.1, but may have been there earlier.

Developers: please put analysis on the app. You can see how many people want it.

Use the Chrome browser to pull up the Chess.com website:

https://www.chess.com/analysis

Analysis works very well.
