As the time churns away on the chess clock and in real life, I often get "absorbed into the game."
I would like to suggest making it so everytime someone messages you, you can hear a noise (might I also suggest being able to ONLY make it so its from people, you of course should be able to adjust this setting, but having too many notifications from online games and the like I know could get on people`s nerves.)
Not a noise that sounds like a Howler Monkey screaming at the tops of its lungs, but just a casual sound. I got this idea from going on other chess servers such as ICC.
Moreover, this would be even more helpful as I have to refresh in order to see that someone sent me a message, so a half hour could go by and I might not know they sent it and in the meantime they could log off. This gets annoying if they actually sent something important that needed to be answered quickly.
