No Sound - Android App

Since the last update, the sound effects have disappeared. Except that "tok" when my opponent demands rematch and after the game... I am not even sure if that sounded after the game. It's quite depressing. I think I need to see a psychiatrist or a counselor.

I just phoned both my counselor and psychiatrist, they said it is now crap app and suggested I should uninstall it because I'm no-good anyway and nobody will miss me here. They're brilliant, aren't they?

I assume you checked the "sounds" setting to make sure it's enabled.
Is your ringer switch in the on position and volume set high enough?

Chess.com now comes with a warning label. "May cause suicidal thoughts. If you experience suicidal thoughts, discontinue use immediately and go do something fun or useful."

That's good, sir. Thanks for the info. I'm not suicidal. I just felt, along with the disappearance of sound effects is the fun in playing.

Yes, sir. I already triple checked everything (including my earphones). I never really touched anything since the beginning. Everything is set to default, except that I use the Alpha pieces.

Do the sound effects for the other apps on your phone work OK?
If yes, there could be a problem with the Android app.
You should let the staff/developers know with a bug report.

It's been like this for a while. Why don't they solve it. Of course, the "Sound Check" i enabled in the menu settings and the Media Volume is at it's maximum on the phone. I have to units. They run under Andoid 4 and Android 6. They have the same problem.
