A rematch is a privledge, not a right. I have a life outside of chess, and don't always want to be playing 12 games of chess at a time. And leaving nasty comments on my wall is not getting you anywhere, so please just grow up.

chess.com could implement what Windows Checkers things does: if a player leaves midgame, he is replaced by a computer. Only to make things fair, this computer would be automatically set to the same rating that opponent was.

Scott,

Nowhere is it written that someone is forced to play a rematch only because you say it and want it, so stop your moral preach about sportmanship and leave the people decide what they want to do.

Avatar of Mabudo

There is no rule here or anywhere that stays everyone is obliged to give a rematch. If you like to preaching its Ok but what you say or what you thinks its not relevant cause you are not the law.
