When I play in tournaments, I like to have a friend read my opponent's name and board, without reading their rating, so that I cannot judge him or her by the number next to their name. Of course, after the match I would look at it, but then if the player was rating much higher than me and I won, it would make me feel all that much better!
I would very much appreciate such an option on chess.com, as sometimes just a player's simple number can affect how I play against them. Thanks!
