pieces don't move consistently

This has been a problem with this site since I have been here. I have to try to move pieces several times before they will take. It's been particularly frustrating when I have been winning but behind on time. Several games I lost due to time because I couldn't get the pices to respond. Usually it takes several times to take. I have had to resort to counting to ten after highlighting the pice and then it tends to move better, but it still isn't up to a decent quality standard. I mean what other issue could be more important than providing a site where the pieces move when you want them to. If they don't move then ther is no chess. Right? I constantly change browsers, Chrome and Internet Explorer usually. IE works a little better than Chrome, but it's hard to tell. Neither of them move decently. I constantly clear  my cache, do hard refreshes, refresh the site, shut down and restart... I shouldn't have to do all this stuff. The site does not have to be that high tech to just work. In other words, I am saying that a site as simple as this is should work better. I go on sites that are extremely complicated and sensitive, and they work consistently better than this one. They are not chess related though. I play all sorts of live games much more complicated than this one. This one is just two players one at a time making one move at a time. Not very complicated. Yet, it does not consistently work. Why? Please raise the quality of performance on this site. I just want the pieces to move when I tell them to move. That's it. That's all I really care about on this whole site. Can you do that?

I have more problems with Chrome than any of the other browsers.Please be relevant, helpful & nice!
