I've lost some games by slipping on my laptop keypad. It just happened again and I got mated the very next move. Couldn't you add an optional function that asks you if you really meant to move the piece the way you just did?
It's enfuriating to lose a long game just because you slip...
CC games have the option to require you click a "submit move" button. If that's what you are playing you can make that happen.
Are you talking about live games? I've only played 10 minute Blitz and did not notice such an option for that.
I don't know what a CC game is, I'm afraid. I only play 30 min live games,. When a game has been going on for 50+ minutes and you lose because of a slip... Man, it really makes me mad.
I would recommend getting a mouse to plug into your laptop and not using the touchpad.
