Saving Material

I'm sorry that I don't know its been suggestion/question before, but is there a way to save content like forum posts and blog (without submitting it)? For example, as I was preparing to finish a forum topic, I realized it was about 11 o'clock, logged off and went to bed after pressing "save and preview". However, the next morning I could'nt find it, so apparently it only saves it until you log out or it doesn't save at all. Is there a way to access such things? If notg, I think that it'd be a good idea for people to come back to something they were posting but not finished (again, without submitting it as we all know that once you submit it, you can edit it later and add stuff).

EDIT: YEs, I found it under re3cent activity, but wouldn't it help to put it in a more obvious location?
