Scheduled quick tournament rounds

I hope this hasn't been discussed elsewhere, but I didn't find anything. I haven't played a live tournament here yet. I was interested in the USCF-rated tournaments arranged by the USChess club. Blitz is too fast for me. I was hoping to do a 15|10 tournament. But those games can last up to an hour. In any OTB tournament, the time of the next round is posted, and the next round is guaranteed not to start until a certain time. Without this, you can never leave the site during what can be a very long tourney. I'm sure this works out quite well with Blitz. But otherwise everyone is stuck on the site for up to 5 hours to play in a 5-round 15|10 tournament.

Is there any support for scheduled quick tournament rounds, or any plans to implement that feature? It would make those tournaments a lot easier for me at least to play.

I do not believe so. I like the idea, however.

Btw what will happen to plater's rating if he/she can't finish 5 rounds?

You could still withdraw at any time between rounds, just like in current tourneys.

Hi Martin, then what will the withdraw do to the USCF rating score? I want to play the rapid games but I am afraid I only have couple of hours max!

It is the same if you go to an OTB tourney. Any games played get rated. Doesn't matter if you play all rounds or not.
