I gave up on this a while ago (for the reasons you mentioned) and now use google with chess.com added to my search string. Been getting better results with this :)

I can't get any results back when using the search bar at the upper right hand corner of the screen. I've tried in both chrome and internet explorer and no matter what I search for I get no results. Is it just me? I tried search for KID, King, jhbchess, etc. Nothing.
