setting up positions for analysis for mobile versions of chess.com?

Does anyone know how to set up positions for self-analysis on the mobile version of chess.com, to be able to play though variations rather than having to play the computer ?

When doing puzzles in books or playing through annotated games, I used to press "Computer" and do "custom set up" under "analysis" mode... now it seems that I can still set up a custom position, but I am forced to play the computer rather than play through my own or an author's variations. Did the mobile site lose this functionality in a recent update? Please help. Thanks.

The analysis board loads an engine but shouldn't actually make the moves.

How do you load the analysis board to set up a new position (for the mobile site)? I can no longer do this with the most recent update, but I was able to do it a few months ago.

Are you asking about the site on the mobile browser? Or the app?

On the browser it is Play > Analysis on v3

The app... I don't know how to load an analysis board on the app any more ... Was able to do so a few months ago by clicking on "computer" on the left side and there were some options that opened an analysis board. Thanks.

Yeah, Computer > Custom and before you hit start, turn both black and white to human players.

The other way to get to an analysis board is from a game.

The new feature that confused me was pressing the icon to switch players from computer to human player instead of that being listed and switched in older version... not enough brain plasticity at my age to figure these things... hopefully, I can still learn some chess from playing variations in analysis mode. Thanks!!!
