Sexual harassment
you would get the same for using American flag as your profile picture...just saying.
Dontcha know that Jewish suffering is special, goy? After all, we're God's chosen!
Chess is traditionally considered a game for men. This is the same as if a man comes in the circle of cutting and sewing. The problem is easily solved with another avatar and some profile information. If you leave everything as is, then maybe subconsciously you are looking for male attention? It certainly is not about rudeness.

You shouldn't have to change your picture. People need to change. Lets also not focus on im american, im jewish, im a boy and get abuse. Its the abuse thats the issue. Chess.com should have a zero tolerance, and ban any users that make inappropriate comments.
You can just send an email to support@chess.com or click on the report button (!) on player's profiles.

I've been here ten and a half years and that's never been my experience. Why do you think that is?
They're afraid you, Batman, and Robin will come after them.

Saying "I shouldn't HAVE to disable the chat" is like saying "I shouldn't HAVE to wear my seatbelt! If others would drive safely there'd be no need! Surely the onus is on THEM!" Grow up. If the chat offends you, disable it. If a person is a jerk, report them. If you want to game the system, have an anonymous profile. But if you expect the world to magically become a utopia for the sake of your feelings and for you to never have to DO ANYTHING ("I shouldn't have to!") for your own safety and comfort, then I'm so sorry you had to live on planet Earth.

Avatar is of a cartoon figure and not of a real person. But anyhow even if its just cause your lucky, are you chalening the OPs assertion? She can be telling the truth. Plus your rating is real high. So thats another filter. Maybe if you create a new id, lose a lot of games so your rating is around 1,100 ...
What does rating have to do with anything?
My point is that one is probably harassed if one invites it, allows it or over-reacts to it. It's not chess.com or any other site involving interaction; it's part the unsavory nature of the anonymous internet.
I agree completely with @DeuS_eX_DaRe (comment #48).

Saved. May I paste it in forums outside chess.com?
