I used to hate trails... Now in my old age I realize it's just a different ordering of time. That is what you're talking about, right?

Yeah, I find the dots annoying,too. Is there anyway to turn them off? Can't find a way...

The dots showing potential movement of a piece makes it a kids game to me now. This update forced every player to play in a beginner mode. It could be useful in a tutorial mode for someone learning but in a game it is not appropriate at all.

I agree with above, but I am teaching my 4 year old how to play chess and they can be useful for that so if they could just be in the settings menu to turn on or off that would be great

They can be turned off.
I think under SETTINGS.
"Show possible moves"
