Just throwing this out there for chess.com developers... this shouldn't be hard and it would make my life that much better because apparently I'm easily irritated lol...

I'm sick and tired of seeing Atilla Turzo's stupid blog ads for "supercharge your chess" on the homepage of chess.com.  I tried blocking him but I still see his blogs.

It would be great if chess.com would either create an option to not see blogs of specific users, or make it so that blocking somebody would make all their content invisible...

A lot of titled players are using chess.com to advertise their own website or blog or product or whatever, and because they're titled they are featured bloggers... I don't want to see that crap.  I come on chess.com to see chess.com's content exclusively.

Thanks,

Matt

From today's post, looks like he is back to promoting Day 1 of Supercharge Your Chess.  It appears to be the exaxt same post from six months ago.

Those blogs seem to have gone away?  Any input from chess.com?

I can still see them. it's annoying, and he just posts duplicates again and again.

InDetention

He has 11 pages of content that include 'supercharge'

BTW,  can you post a sample of your opening book?

I've read some of them. They are kind of boring and lack content but otherwise they are okay.

Also, your book!

I also think that blogs like the Macedonian GM should be posted in their entirety here on chess.com, but I'm fine with having to go to another website to check it out. I think chess.com gives a bit more leniency when it comes to titled players (probably why pfren is still around) happy.png.
