Solitare Chess

I understand that Chess Mentor is sort of like solitare chess, it has explanations and all that. And that is good, I really enjoy doing the chess mentor...

but how about something a little different?
Basically it gives you Chess games that masters have played, and you try to get guess the move. It could have alternatives, and each move would give a point value.

all the points could then determine how well you understand the position or game. Without any explanations.

I think it would be fun!

Sure, I see no reason why they could not - just wanted to make you aware of a current implementation in case you wanted to use it while Chess.com was implementing their Solitaire chess feature.
