Suggestion: Adding time spent to statistics

Hello! Thanks to chess.com for the awesome website.

I was looking at my games, and I have over 5000 games played, but I'm not sure how much time I've spent over the course of those games. Perhaps in the future, chess.com could also have the total game time added to a statistic on the player's statistics page. There's an old saying that it takes 10,000 hours of practice to master something, and I'd like to take that challenge head-on! 

Would other people be interested in seeing "total game time" for their bullet, blitz, and standard game stats? 

Edit: This statisic could also be applied to tactics trainer and chess mentor.

Ah, so it is! I actually remember seeing that tactics statistics page, but I hadn't visited it in a while. 

I know it's been literally 7 years since you last wrote this, but may I ask how to do this? I can't seem to find my own number of hours spent on here and would love to know how.

this is definetly something worth adding. lichess has it for games and it's a great function, chess.com only for puzzle training as far as i know

Reviving this thread again. I agree with this, it would be nice to know how many hours I've spent playing in live chess

Yeah, I enjoy seeing the total time spent, and I do not think the mechanics are too hard. 

Just as such, I would like chess.com to bring back Total Moves; this statistic existed here for a period around late 2019 I think, and it was nice to see that little number increase. I dreamed of getting to a million moves (something that is attainable but difficult). 

It would also be great to see 100/1k/10k hours spent achievements, and have it broke down by type & such.

My suggestion is: tell chess.com directly. There is a feedback option in the settings.

I made a website to estimate the time played on chess.com. Right now, it only calculates regular bullet, blitz, and rapid games; daily games are not taken into account.

The answer is 1058 hours and 17 minutes (and you love the English opening, seemingly in all its variations ).
